My summer book tour schedule is up and I can’t wait to meet you if you live in or near these cities. I will be speaking in some wonderful book stores, quilting stores and maker spaces across the country. Save the date and check the events page for updates to the schedule as there may be additions.
In other exciting news…my book is in Costco! Holy crap! I’m a huge Costco fan so this is a dream come true. Costco totally gets the concept of surprise and delight. I buy green juice, organic eggs, grass-fed butter and natural sunscreen there. Today I found Nuttzo, a seed and nut butter made with almonds and cashews–Chia and pumpkin seeds. I like to find stuff. I like my shopping experiences to feel like discovery. That’s why I like Costco–something for everyone. I think I must be their target consumer. We sleep on Costco sheets, buy all electronics there, etc. I so hope people will be delighted to stumble across my book in Costco and think…hmmm…this looks interesting…just like I did with my jar of Nuttzo today.
(You can find my book in 13 Costcos in Phoenix and Scottsdale and surrounding area…Mother’s Day is coming right up. Give the gift of creativity…and for $11.99…wow!)
And hey…that’s me on that sign!?! Come see me next Saturday, May 2nd 1-3 pm at Costco (Scottsdale Airpark location on Hayden). I’ll have my archival pens and will be more than happy to sign your books.
Well, I love a Costco surprise too!!! Congratulations on this one!!! I loved the sparks you shared in this little book of fire and may you inspire people with your fun way of getting us up an moving again!! I can hardly wait to see if my store is stocking this book to!!
(I am going to have to give that Nuttzo a try now though. I have picked it up a couple of times but it has not come home with me yet. Next trip – it is going in the cart!!!) Thanks for sharing!!!
What a pity that I am a bit too far away!
Have fun!
