Phew! We are back from International Quilt Market in Portland and I really only have one thing on my mind: gratitude. Holy crap was it a crazy, fun whirlwind! People really seemed to respond to my new patterns and fabric collection, COLLAGE, for Windham. I am blown away by the kindness and integrity pouring out of the whole team at Windham Fabrics and could not be happier with my choice to produce fabric with them.
My new patterns will be available for pre-order in my shopping cart this week: The Nest Quilt and The Watercolor Quilt. They will ship to stores (and for pre-orders) in July. My third pattern releasing for spring is the Text Me, Maybe Quilt. (It is being released through Cut Loose Press and is available to order through Checker Distributors.) It will be in my cart soon, too.
I now have a bunch of irons in the fire and am excited about next steps. To anyone who stops by to read this little blog, I just want to say a huge, gigantic THANK YOU for your support and for following along on my way-too-wordy journey here on my blog.
This path is coming full circle for me, and what has emerged as my core truth is exactly the same one I have always held in my heart: I am an artist and a creative person. I celebrate creativity in my parenting, my life, and in my work. I love helping others do exactly that same thing and I am truly honored that people are responding to what I am doing. Needless to say, there have been tears of joy– tears of epic meltdowns due to stress–tears of WTF?–tears of OMG–tears of it is all going to be OK, because I am listening to my heart.
So thank you for reading, looking, and supporting my little brand. We are all going somewhere, and I really believe it is much more fun, if we hold hands and go together. Here are some pictures of the booth. I wish I could show you the whole show, but I never walked around the show for fear of missing something good in my booth. I was honored when Pokey Bolton asked me to do a little interview about my new fabric line HERE.
