Have you seen the new and inspiring online magazine, Generation Q? I met Jake Finch, one of the editors and founders, when I was at the Long Beach Festival. Jake is an ad hoc historian/archeologist of the very young modern quilting movement. She is a fountain of knowledge and has been participating for several decades as a sewist, writer and editor for several trade publications.
“Generation Q Magazine is a community of modern and contemporary quilters, sewists and fabric addicts who love to create, and are welcoming of new ideas and new styles while respecting what’s come before and who enjoy creative expression in all forms.”
I was so happy to be featured on Generation Q this week as part of the I Am GenQ series, in which they feature modern stitchers. Click here to see the great article by editor, Melissa Thompson Maher.
