Don’t you just love Pinterest? I found this amazing photo of a handmade felt ornament a few months ago on Pinterest. And it stuck in my brain. Turns out it is from Bugs and Fishes (click here) and was featured in the book Fa La La Felt. Adorable.

It seemed like the perfect project for my son’s kindergarten class. So I went into the classroom today to make ornaments with the kids. F-U-N. They did a great job with the hand sewing and cutting. It was a quick craft too—maybe twenty minutes? If you could only see the whole pile of twenty-three ornaments. I seriously considered stealing them, bringing them home, and decorating a whole tree with them. But that would be rotten as they belonged to the kids so I kept my mitts off. 🙂
