Here we are. Today is the tenth and final day of my Creativity Challenge. I hope you enjoyed it. I did wonder if anyone was really even reading all of this stuff I wrote during this 10 day challenge–if I was connecting and inspiring. But then I would get an email, text, Instagram post, FB message, tweet or call from a friend or stranger sharing their incredible creations and I felt so awed.
And in the spirit of my above questioning and doubt of myself and my contribution (yes, even I do that, too, just like you) today brings us to the most important challenge I can offer to you to help enhance your creativity. It is really simple to say and yet sometimes so hard to do. I have written about this topic many times before here and here.
And so here it is…you are enough. You are already enough. You are already creative right now exactly as you sit there. Thinking any other thoughts about yourself can only interfere with your gorgeous, ecstatic and abundant creativity. I work on this in myself all the time. Most days I am confident in myself and my worth, value, and contribution. But sometimes doubt sneaks in.
Today, tattoo it on your body somewhere. Your face–your chest–your stomach–your hand. Use a Sharpie or eyeliner. Let it be a reminder of your shining beauty and creativity. If you can get this one simple thing down…you can do anything. Because you aren’t just merely enough. You are splendid. You are awesome. You are a little piece of glitter stuck on the cheek of eternity. And that is rad. Off you go now…shine on, creative spirits! Thanks for playing along.
Thank you so much for this series. It was thought-provoking, inspiring, and fun. I loved coming back each morning to see what was next.
Thank you for such a simple, yet powerful sentiment!
